Racing Club Warwick enjoyed an easy win as the Bears fell flat after an early goal at Townsend Meadow.
A difficult afternoon could have been predicted after the first minute as Josh Benton dealt with an early Warwick attack. And it would have been a good prediction as Warwick opened the scoring through Henry Leaver.
The home side continued to dominate, and the Wee Gers frustratingly wasted a free-kick in the 19th minute. It could have been a crucial equaliser as minutes later Benton made a great save to deny Gerrard McGahey.
Paget managed to starve off the Racers until five minutes before half-time when a low hard drive from Martin Slevin doubled the hosts’ lead. A minute before half-time Slevin doubled his tally to give Warwick a 3-0 lead going into the break.
In the second half goals from Luke Cole and Scott Turner completed the scoring as the Bears struggled to mount a comeback.
