Paget Rangers Seek New Chairperson

Following the resignation of Paget Rangers Chairman Matthew Dainty due to work commitments and personal reasons, with immediate effect, the club are now looking to appoint a new Chairperson.

The new chairperson should ideally be someone who has experience of running their own business and harbours a passion for football, especially at the grass roots level. Knowledge of football administration would be beneficial but not essential and the new Chairperson will inherit a football club which is in a stable financial position and a club which has a dedicated and hardworking committee of volunteers.

The club are members of the Midland Football League 1st Division (step 6) enabling entry into the FA Vase and potential qualification for the FA Cup each season and also has a long-term groundshare agreement in place with Sutton Coldfield Town which enables the club to progress further up the non-league pyramid.

In addition to running an adult men’s first team, the club also runs a successful youth side in the MJPL U19s Midweek Floodlit Development League.

Any individual or group of people who may be interested in taking on the Chairperson role and other roles on the Club’s Board/Committee should email pagetrangers@gmail.com to arrange a meeting.
