Fixture Changes

Several fixtures have new dates/venues

Due to cup games and pitch availability there have been several fixture changes.

Our 1st team upcoming fixtures are currently as follows – any further changes will be announced in due course:

Paget Given Bye In BCFA Midweek Floodlit Cup

Bears Through To Second Round

Paget Rangers will enter this season’s Birmingham County FA Midweek Floodlit Cup at the 2nd Round stage after being handed a bye in the first round.

The Birmingham County FA Midweek Floodlit Cup is a competition open to those clubs in the Birmingham FA area operating at Step 6 (MFL Division 1 and WMRL Premier Division) as well as those local clubs at Step 7 who have been accepted into the FA Vase. Last season’s winners were Atherstone Town who defeated Tividale in a thrilling final at Coles Lane.

The full first round draw is as follows:

The following teams were handed byes:

Atherstone Town, Black Country Rangers, Bolehall Swifts, Chelmsley Town, Coventry Copsewood, Darlaston Town (1874), Dudley Town, FC Stratford, GNP Sports, Nuneaton Griff, Paget Rangers, Smethwick Rangers, Studley, Wednesfield.

Paget Handed Home Tie In JW Hunt Cup

Bears To Host WMRL Opposition

Paget Rangers have been handed a home tie in the first round of this season’s JW Hunt Cup.

The Bears will welcome WMRL Division 1 side Old Wulfrunians to Coles Lane for a midweek fixture on a date TBC. The match will take place before the end of October.

The two sides have met once previously in the competition with Paget securing a 8-1 victory at Castlecroft. The Bears scorers on that occasion were David Franklin (2), Daniel Carter (2), Mark Bellingham (2), Dean Crowley and Matt Seeley.

The date of this fixture will be confirmed in due course.

The Buildbase FA Vase

2019/20 Cup Draws Announced

Buildbase FA Vase, FA Youth Cup & Moldwell Plastics League Cup Draws Confirmed

Paget Rangers have learnt their first cup opponents ahead of the new 2019/20 season.

In the Buildbase FA Vase, Seeley’s men have recieved a bye in the 1st Qualifying Round and will then travel to fellow MFL Division 1 side, Atherstone Town, in the 2nd Qualifying Round on Saturday 14th September (KO 3pm)

In the FA Youth Cup, Seb Hamilton will take a Paget Rangers U18s side to face local rivals Boldmere St. Michaels at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground. (Date and KO TBC)

Finally for now, the 1st round draw of this season’s Moldwell Plastics League Cup has taken place and Paget Rangers will host MFL Premier Division Side, Lye Town, on Tuesday 24th September (KO 7:45pm) at Coles Lane.

Tividale Fixture Date Confirmed

Paget To Travel To Tividale In Birmingham Midweek Floodlit Cup

Paget Rangers 1/4 Final Birmingham Midweek Floodlit Cup tie away at West Midlands Regional League Premier Division leaders, Tividale, has been set for Wednesday 19th December, kick off 7:45pm.

Paget Handed Tividale Tie

Bears To Face WMRL Leaders In Floodlit Cup

Paget Rangers reward for beating Coventry Copsewood is a tough away tie at West Midlands Regional League leaders Tividale in the quarter final of the Birmingham Midweek Floodlit Cup.

The two sides have met recently before with Paget emerging victorious by one goal to nil in last season’s JW Hunt Cup.

Details for the match will be released in due course.

The 2nd Round Draw of the Birmingham Midweek Floodlit Cup Has Been Made

Paget Rangers have been drawn at home to fellow Total Motion Midland Football League Division 1 side Coventry Copsewood in the 2nd Round of this season’s Birmingham County FA Midweek Floodlit Cup.

The match will be played at Coles Lane on Tuesday 27th November, Kick off 7:45pm

Admission prices will be:

Adults – £5, Seniors – £3, Accompanied Under 16s – FREE.

Please note season tickets are not valid for this fixture.

Fixture Changes

Several Upcoming Fixtures Have Been Rearranged

Following Paget Rangers exit from the FA Vase and in line with other fixture commitments, several upcoming fixtures have been rearranged.

Paget Rangers home league fixture against NKF Burbage, originally scheduled for Saturday 3rd November has now been rearranged for Tuesday 4th December due to NKF Burbage’s involvement in the FA Vase.

The midweek league fixture at home to Chelmsley Town originally scheduled for Tuesday 6th November has therefore been brought forward to Saturday 3rd November (KO 3pm).

The Walsall Senior Cup tie at home to Sporting Khalsa which was postponed due to their involvement in the Staffordshire Senior Cup has now been rearranged for Tuesday 20th November (KO 7:45pm).

Hereford Lads Club Await In FA Vase

Paget To Travel To WMRL Side

Paget Rangers have been handed an away tie at West Midlands Regional League Premier Division side, Hereford Lads Club, in the 1st Round Proper of the BuildbaseUK FA Vase.

The clash with Hereford Lads Club will take place at their Widemarsh Common Ground on Saturday 13th October, kick off 3pm.

To reach this stage, Hereford Lads Club beat Coventry Copsewood 2-1 in the 2nd Qualifying Round.

Hereford Lads Club currently sit in 5th place in the West Midlands Regional League Premier Division (same level as Paget) with 4 wins and 3 defeats from their 7 league games so far.

Paget will be running a coach to this game, departing from Coles Lane at 11am – full details to be announced shortly, with places sold to supporters on a first come first served basis.

MFL League Cup 1st Round Draw

Local Derby For The Bears

Paget Rangers have been drawn away to Divisional rivals Chelmsley Town in the 1st Round of this season’s Midland Football League Cup.

The match at Pack Meadow will take place on Monday 24th September, KO 7:45pm.

The winner of the Chelmsley Town v Paget Rangers tie will be at home to Cadbury Athletic in Round 2.
